CQRH established Rural health management Services in 2011.

There are currently 7 practices operating under the management of RHMS

Established on a ‘walk in / walk out model’.

The management can be an interim recruitment solution or a longer term solution to ensure a community has access to general practice services.

All practices are accredited, staff recruited and trained and medical staff contracted.

RHMS works in conjunction with communities, local government and other health service providers to continue the development of rural health services in each community.

Rural Health Management Services (RHMS) has grown out of the need for management support for smaller rural general practices, either privately operated or in conjunction with Queensland health right of private practice positions.
